We painted the nursery & rearranged furniture! It is so nice to have something accomplished in preparation for the twins arrival. Ian did a great job! I am enjoying being home & getting to rest and nest at my leisure. I am however, getting to the uncomfortable stages of this pregnancy. It is difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position and my lower back is beginning to ache. I'm taking every opportunity to put my feet up. The recliner is my best friend! :) This morning I sat with the twins in their room & we just listened to lullabies. Such a sweet time! God is good!

In My Arms
This song played on KSBJ today and it made me cry...just thinkin about my little ones. Really touched my heart. I'm in for an emotional day :)
In My Arms - Plumb
Your baby blues
So full of wonder
Your curly cues
Your contageous smile
And as I watch
You start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight
Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Story books full of fairy tales
Of kings and queens and the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You'll someday see the truth from lies
Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Because I will always
Always love you
Clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms
In My Arms - Plumb

A sobering ordeal
3am Sunday morning, Ian's co-worker, Officer Tracy Sheets, was hit by a drunk driver in a head on collision. Thankfully, there were no fatalities, but it really caused us to consider the possibility that it could've been anyone in Tracy's situation. I shed tears, but have been told by my God and Father to "Fret Not." I must rest assured in the fact that Ian is perfectly protected and he will be with me until he's called home. I am so thankful to know the One that holds my husband's life in the palm of His hands. Nothing happens outside of the Lord's will or control. Amen(Let it be so)
Truth to cling to:
Mat. 6:34 - "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day [is] its own trouble."
Jam. 4:14 - "whereas you do not know what [will happen] tomorrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."
Psa. 39:5 - "Indeed, You have made my days [as] handbreadths, And my age [is] as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state [is] but vapor."

Please join me in keeping Officer Sheets & her family in your prayers. Thank you!

Sweet Seasons
2010 has already been wonderful! My heart has much to ponder. I'd like to share one of the many highlight! We were so blessed by our dear friends on the NWYM leadership team last night! As we will be attending the young families class at GBC when our little miracles arrive, they sent us off with their support, lots of hugs, a gift basket full of wonderful goodies and prayed over us. Ian and I have enjoyed serving alongside them and will miss being intimately involved in the class. Thanks be to God for the people He brings into our lives...our dear Grace family! We rejoice in the the days the Lord has made to come!
